You will be responsible for the following:
- Greet and engage patients with respect and a smile.
- Ensure patients are well informed and comfortable - before, during, and after their appointment - about their treatment and oral health.
- Oversee practice operations, focusing on key performance indicators, revenue, and expenses on a week-to-week basis.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal claims processing guidelines, taking personal responsibility for preventing fraudulent activity.
- Lead by example, fostering a positive and respectful workplace, open to new ideas and collaboration.
- Take initiative and hold oneself and team accountable to high performance standards.
- Maintain a patient-centric approach across all practice operations, fostering patient relationships and retention.
- Perform any additional duties as assigned.
- Maintain a clean, sterile, and patient-centric working environment.
- Maintain strict compliance with State, Federal, and other regulations, (e.g, OSHA, WC, Dental Board, HIPAA, ADA, DOL, Employee Handbook).
You will be required to possess the following:
- Minimum one year of supervisory/management experience, including P&L management.
- Leadership skills to build and develop a high-performing team.
- Prior customer service experience, preferably in healthcare, dental, or retail.
- Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and Dental System software.
- Ability to collaborate for continuous improvement in patient experience and operational efficiency.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to work in a fast-paced office environment.
- Punctuality and commitment to professionalism and confidentiality.
- Current CPR certification or ability to obtain within 30 days.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the desire for professional growth.
- Be organized and possess a superior knowledge of dentistry and dental terminology.
