Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Paraprofessional Educator to join our educational team. Responsibilities
- Assist teachers in implementing lesson plans and curriculum development tailored to meet the needs of individual students.
- Provide support to students in a classroom environment, ensuring they understand the material and can engage with it effectively.
- Help manage classroom behavior and implement behavior management strategies to create a positive learning atmosphere.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff regarding student progress and needs.
- Participate in the development of educational materials and resources that enhance student learning.
- Supervise students during classroom activities, recess, and other school events to ensure their safety and well-being.
- Collaborate with teachers to assess student performance and provide feedback for improvement.
Experience
- Previous experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with lesson planning and curriculum development is advantageous.
- Experience in managing classroom dynamics and implementing behavior management techniques is highly valued.
- Strong communication skills are essential for interacting with students, parents, and colleagues.
- A background in preschool education or private school experience is a plus.
