Hostess, Food Runner and dishwasher

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Host/Busser to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they feel welcomed and comfortable while also assisting in maintaining a clean and organized dining environment. This position is essential in providing excellent customer service and supporting the overall operations of our restaurant.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests promptly upon arrival, ensuring a warm welcome.
• Manage reservations and maintain an organized waiting list during busy periods.
• Assist servers by bussing tables, clearing dishes, and resetting tables efficiently.
• Ensure that the dining area is clean, tidy, and well-stocked with necessary supplies.
• Support kitchen staff by delivering food orders and assisting with food handling as needed.
• Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth service flow.

Skills

• Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
• Experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred.
• Knowledge of food handling and safety practices.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Experience in banquet or hotel settings is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.11 - $18.73 per hour

Expected hours: 8 – 16 per week
