Long Term Substitute: Elementary Teacher Grades 5/6

This long term substitute position full 2025-26 school year. Peacham School is a small PreK-6 Grade school located in the picturesque small town of Peacham, Vermont. There are approximately 70 students and 18 staff members on any given day at the school. For next school year we need a long term substitute to cover a teacher on leave. Essential Functions and Qualifications include a Vermont Teacher License with an Elementary (K-6); proficient technology skills; excellent collaboration and behavior management skills; knowledge of PBIS systems of support and trauma informed/responsive classroom practices; an understanding of, experience in, and commitment to a Multi-Tiered System of Support; the ability to promote and maintain positive relationships with teachers, students, and families. The position requires learning progression differentiation in a multiage classroom with academically diverse 3rd and 4th grade students. Health insurance is available as well as sick leave days. Must have a teacher license for elementary grades.
