The Housekeeping Supervisor role offers the chance to lead and inspect rooms, ensuring they are comfortable, inviting, and clean for guests.
In this position, you will be responsible for guiding, training, and overseeing Room Attendants and House persons, contributing to the hotel's mission to provide exceptional guest service and achieve financial success.
Your duties will include leading, training, and supervising Room Attendants and House persons on a specific floor or area to ensure all rooms and public spaces adhere to established standards of cleanliness and quality. You will assess and assign rooms for cleaning, inspect them, and report any discrepancies. Additionally, you will manage stock rooms, carts, and inventories, and coordinate with the Engineering/Property Operations team to ensure timely maintenance and repairs. When necessary, you may perform the duties of a Room Attendant or House person. You should be capable of inspecting 25 to 80 rooms daily, cleaning rooms as required, and physically handling large items such as housekeeping carts, furniture, linen bags, vacuum cleaners, and inventory boxes. Computer literacy is also essential for this role.
