The Regional Controller will oversee multiple properties' accounting operations, including month-end, balance sheet and bank reconciliations, inter-company accounts, control compliance, cash management, and taxes. This is a multi-property position that supports a portfolio of majority select-service properties. You must be able to supervise and direct the financial and accounting activities of the hotel, safeguard hotel assets, and prepare financial reports following Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and the Uniform System of Accounting.

Key Responsibilities
- Manages all accounting operations including daily income journal, AP invoice review, cash flow analysis, process check run, balance sheet and bank reconciliations.
- Oversees the monthly accounting close for assigned properties.
- Prepare monthly financial statements. Provide financial guidance and support to the hotel leadership team in reaching financial targets of revenue and expense centers and budgeted capital expenditures.
- Monitor and reinforce controls to prevent loss or misappropriation.
- Support the acquisitions team during due diligence and closing process.
- Assist with external audit requests.
- Required to work overtime and/or weekends when necessary to complete month-end requirements before all stated deadlines.
- Be a critical contributor to the long-term strategic planning of the company and leader in revenue maximization initiatives.
- Additional duties as assigned.
- Minimum of 5 years experience with multi-unit hotel director of finance, area/regional controller roles, required.
- Effective in prioritizing work and following through on commitments.
- Experience managing work under deadlines that require the organization of multiple tasks and objectives.
- Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Exemplary communication (verbal and written), organization, and presentation skills.
- Display analytical and problem-solving ability.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office & Excel.
- Experience with M3, HIA, and Profit Sword.
- Ability to maintain strict adherence to confidentiality requirements.
