What are the responsibilities and job description for the Server (Mornings & Banquet) position at Peachtree Group Hospitality Management?
Restaurant Servers are the face of the restaurant to its customers. They attend diners by taking and deliver food orders, answering questions, and providing a great customer experience. They are also responsible for delivering checks, accepting payments, and tidying tables after diners leave. The server is responsible for setting up and maintaining breakfast buffet.
- Take customers’ food and drink orders
- Ensure that all orders are accurate and brought to each table in a timely manner
- Work closely with restaurant management to immediately address all customer concerns and create a pleasant dining experience
- Confirm orders with the chefs and bartenders whenever a clarification is requested
- Assist with setting tables and rearranging tables to accommodate larger parties
- Setting up and maintaining breakfast buffet
- Banquet serving is plated and buffet style depending on event. Responsibilities include rolling silverware, formal settings of tables, linen tables, cleanliness of banquet room, setting up buffet, maintaining buffet, bussing tables, resetting (Vacuum, arrange chairs, wipe down tables, remove trash from room at end of event)
