Starbucks Barista

Join our team as a Starbucks Barista and help create exceptional experiences for our guests by crafting high-quality beverages and food in a fast-paced environment. You’ll greet customers, take orders, prepare drinks, and provide friendly, efficient service. Responsibilities also include handling transactions, maintaining store cleanliness, and restocking supplies. With a focus on teamwork, customer service, and creating a welcoming atmosphere, you’ll deliver expertly crafted products and build lasting relationships with customers. Strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and a passion for coffee are essential.

Responsibilities:

·       Responsible for working together to be the best moment in every guest’s day while delivering expertly crafted products

·       Follows our customer service commitment (smiling, offering a friendly greeting, learning guests’ names and orders, assuming the best in others, saying   

         thank you) in each interaction

·       Actively seeks to recognize, include, appreciate, support and delight our guest

·       Uses operational tools and training to develop coffee/product knowledge and helps our guest find their favorites

·       Connects guests with events and offers by staying informed about relevant information

·       Accurately rings customer orders and follows proper cash handling procedures

·       Maintains a calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual events

·       Contributes to positive team environment

·       Follows Starbucks and Peachtree operational policies and procedures including those for cash handling and safety/security

·       Maintain a clean and organized workspace

·       Provide quality beverages and food products consistently by adhering to all recipe and presentation standards

·       Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines for all products and equipment

·       Maintain regular and punctual attendance

Job Qualifications and Required Skills

·       No previous experience required 

• Available to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and/or holidays

• Ability to engage and effectively communicate with our guest

• Available to perform many different tasks within the store during each shift

• Ability to learn quickly

• Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions and request clarification when needed

• Strong interpersonal skills
