Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and execute dishes according to Covet.PDX’s recipes and presentation standards.
- Work efficiently in a high-volume environment while maintaining quality and speed.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to all food safety and sanitation standards.
- Assist with ingredient prep, station setup, and restocking during service.
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations.
- Monitor food quality and freshness, following proper storage and labeling procedures.
- Support closing duties, including cleaning and breakdown of the kitchen.
- Contribute to a positive, team-focused environment with professionalism and respect.
- 2 years of line cook or restaurant kitchen experience preferred.
- Strong knife skills and knowledge of basic cooking techniques.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
