Position Overview
The Restaurant Manager oversees the daily operations of the hotel’s restaurant and bar, ensures an exceptional guest experience, drives revenue, and maintains high standards of food quality, service, and cleanliness. This leader will manage and train staff, coordinate with the culinary and hotel teams, and uphold the Embassy Suites brand standards while creating a welcoming, beach-resort atmosphere for all guests.

Position Overview
The Restaurant Manager oversees the daily operations of the hotel’s restaurant and bar, ensures an exceptional guest experience, drives revenue, and maintains high standards of food quality, service, and cleanliness. This leader will manage and train staff, coordinate with the culinary and hotel teams, and uphold the Embassy Suites brand standards while creating a welcoming, beach-resort atmosphere for all guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day restaurant operations, ensuring excellent service and guest satisfaction.
- Supervise, train, and motivate front-of-house staff, including servers, hosts, and bartenders.
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef and kitchen team to ensure seamless communication and timely service.
- Manage inventory, ordering, and cost controls for food, beverage, and supplies.
- Monitor labor costs and scheduling to maintain budgeted goals.
- Ensure cleanliness, safety, and compliance with health regulations at all times.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback promptly and professionally.
- Assist with menu development, seasonal promotions, and event planning in coordination with the hotel’s sales and catering teams.
- Maintain POS systems, ensure accurate billing, and manage daily reporting.
- Uphold Hilton and Embassy Suites brand standards and guest service expectations.
- Partner with hotel leadership on special initiatives, team development, and property-wide events.
- 3 years of restaurant management experience, preferably in a hotel or resort setting.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven track record of team development, service excellence, and operational success.
- Knowledge of restaurant financials, inventory systems, and scheduling.
- Familiarity with POS systems and restaurant management software.
- SERV Safe or equivalent food safety certification preferred.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
