Hotel Housekeeper

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hotel Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our hotel, ensuring that guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay. This position requires a strong commitment to hospitality and an eye for detail, as well as the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas according to hotel standards.
• Change bed linens, towels, and other amenities as required.
• Dust, vacuum, and mop floors to ensure cleanliness throughout the hotel.
• Restock supplies in guest rooms and common areas as needed.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
• Maintain a positive attitude while interacting with guests and staff.
• Follow all health and safety regulations while performing cleaning tasks.
• Assist with deep cleaning projects during off-peak times or as directed by management.

Skills

• Strong background in hospitality with an emphasis on customer service.
• Experience in hotel housekeeping management is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with custodial practices and industrial cleaning techniques.
• Proficient in floor care methods, including vacuuming, mopping, and polishing.
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to clean efficiently and effectively.
• Ability to work independently while also being a team player.
• Strong time management skills to ensure timely completion of tasks.
