ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Cultivate new business using various sales methods (door-to-door, cold calling, presentations, LinkedIn, Seamless ai, etc.)
- Partner closely with the sales leadership to undertake strategic, revenue-generating initiatives
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans within market to meet or exceed quarterly revenue targets
- Maintain an open line of communication with immediate supervisor by reporting field activity, customer relations, and current status of accounts
- Maintain pipeline opportunities and log all activity in the designated customer relationship management (Salesforce) system
- Develop and maintain an expert level of knowledge of company solutions and competition in the market
- Attain and maintain adequate knowledge of competing products
- Attain and maintain adequate knowledge of the Peachtree Packaging and Display, Inc. Systems, and processes
- Creatively troubleshoot issues in order to meet customer needs
- Solicit feedback and requirements from customers to provide key input on product improvements and new products
- Be proficient and responsive with communication
- Strive for 100% customer satisfaction rating
- Participate in ongoing training to increase professional growth and job effectiveness
- Follow and enforce established department policies, procedures, work instructions and safety and environmental guidelines
- Performs other duties and/or responsibilities as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree in in Marketing, Business Administration, or a technical field
- 1-2 years of Industrial or Manufacturing outside sales experience or other relevant field experience within the packaging (corrugated, SBS/chipboard, etc.) and/or printing (flexographic, digital print, and/or offset printing) industries preferred
- B2B sales experience preferred
- Knowledge of market research, sales and negotiating principles
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong planning, organizational, and time-management skills
- Ability to effectively prioritize and follow through on competing initiatives and issues across different accounts
- A competitive self-motivator and self-starter comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment and has strong aptitude for learning
- Excellent presentation skills and ability to build relationships
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment
- Strong business acumen
- Enthusiastic and passionate
- Knowledge and proficient use of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Ability to travel as required
- Standing, walking, talking, hearing, and vision are required over 90% of the time. Sitting is required less than 90% of the time. Feeling is required 75% of the time, while twisting, reaching is required about 20% of the time. Low levels of lifting (10 pounds or less) is required about 5% of the time, while medium levels of lifting and carrying (20 to 50 pounds) are required less than 5% of the time
