Peacock Ford is searching for Service Dispatcher / Shop Foreman to join our winning team!
The shop dispatcher is the quarterback of any retail automotive service operation. Scheduling work, promoting efficiency and productivity, and keeping customers satisfied are keys to a dealership’s success. Your Daily Work Schedule:
- Responsible for promoting exceptional levels of shop efficiency and productivity.
- Schedules shop work to create maximum productivity for all skilled level technicians.
- Responsible for doing all that is necessary for service customer satisfaction.
- Responsible for ensuring proper warranty tech time and operation codes are properly used.
- Responsible for developing and maintaining effective communication between the shop and parts department employees.
- Responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly shop.
- Ensure that assigned work has been performed and the repair order has been completed properly.
- Review scheduled maintenance for all service equipment.
- Review with Service Manager a list of needed service department supplies, repairs, safety policies and daily, weekly workload.
