Peacock Partnership seeks an Architect to join its award-winning firm in Atlanta, GA. We are an energetic team, specializing in Healthcare design. Our collaborative work environment provides opportunity for interaction, learning and growth in all aspects of the interior design and architectural practice.
The Architect will be responsible for: performing project development, originating, and assembling project-specific details and large-scale design/ drawings; develop design documentation from conceptual compositions, diagrams, schemes, sketches and layout(s) through construction documents; preparation of design specifications; facilitate project organization, arrangement and coordination between architectural documents and consultant/engineer documents; conduct thorough research of code and requirements for specific design criteria, conduct plan-check corrections, and secure approval of documents from appropriate regulatory agencies; .
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Graduate of an accredited Architecture program or a related design program with bachelor's level degree.
· Minimum 3 years of experience.
· Creative, collaborative, and able to thrive in a team atmosphere.
· Demonstrated ability to produce high quality, complete sets of drawings for complex projects using required software (ArchiCAD, AutoCAD/Revit, Lumion, etc.).
· Familiarity with building systems and building codes.
· Strong organizational, coordination and communication skills.
· Demonstrated ability to collaborate with a team of professionals and consultants to meet project objectives on time and within scope and budget.
· Competency in all aspects of design.
· Demonstrated presentation skills.
