What are the responsibilities and job description for the Security Video Monitoring Operator position at Peak Alarm Company?
Peak Video Monitoring offers an exciting in-office position that monitors remote security services for our customers. Our team of operators is the heart and soul of our operation. As a video monitoring operator, you will have an integral role in protecting our customer's assets by utilizing our remote video monitoring systems. In this role, you should be highly detail-oriented and an effective communicator, working collaboratively with your peers and managers to deliver superior service to our customers.
Your Shift - must be able to work all 4 days
Tuesday - Wednesday, 6:00pm - Midnight & Saturday-Sunday, 8:00am - 4:00pm
Duties & Responsibilities
- Respond to video alarms at a client's site and follow our standard escalation model
- Conduct video guard tours and immediate response to alarms
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of customer site protocols
- Ensure all systems are online, noting any malfunctions, and notify the supervisor
- Maintain accurate records of all incidents on a site and prepare incident reports for any security events
- Assist in answering dispatch phone and staffing call offs
- Create passdowns for management
- Provide the best possible customer service to peers and customers
- Provide appropriate Phone/Email etiquette while communicating with customers
Qualifications:
- Remain alert at all times during hours of employment
- Ability to sit for a long period of time while carrying out monitoring function
- Ability to respond quickly and decisively to potential security situations
- Excellent customer service
- Physically able to climb one flight of stairs
- Highly detail-oriented
- Ability to analyze and define problems and resolve them promptly
- Comfort talking on the phone.
- Computer literate and good working knowledge of MS Office
- Required to work nights, holidays, and weekends
Salary : $15 - $16
