Peak Behavioral Health is seeking a Bilingual Referral Coordinator to join our team at our Oklahoma City location! We are looking for someone that is positive, personable, and detail oriented.
Peak Behavioral Health is a multidisciplinary clinic in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma that includes Psychology, Occupational Therapy and ABA. You’ll be part of a collaborative team that provides a unified approach in helping children with autism and other disabilities.

The position:
- Provide the initial warm welcome to all clients and guests
- Provide excellent customer service by phone, in person and electronically
- Receive incoming phone calls and referrals
- Process all Peak referrals
- Schedule testing appointments from the wait list
- Scan and upload documents for electronic file storage
- Receive and respond to PCP Record Requests
- Check Soonercare eligibility
- As part of the front office staff, assist with:
- Maintaining full schedules for all Providers at assigned location
- Announcing incoming clients to providers
- Collecting payments
- Work closely with Intake and Billing Departments for continuity of services
- Receiving deliveries and distributing mail
- Assisting colleagues with administrative tasks (e.g., copying, mailing, ordering, etc.)
- Monitor appearance of all common areas
Qualifications:
- 1 years of experience as a receptionist (medical receptionist experience preferred)
- Bilingual:
- English and Spanish
- Fluent in both written and verbal communication
- Excellent communication skills
- Must have great problem-solving skills
- Must be highly organized and have a great eye for details
- Proficient in using technology
- Experience with Microsoft Word, Office and Google Drive required
- Passionate about helping children and their families
- Experience working with Medicaid, private health insurance, and Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software/systems preferred
- Available to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
While performing the duties of this job, the Referral Coordinator is regularly required to speak and hear sufficiently to communicate effectively by phone or in person at normal volumes. The Referral Coordinator’s vision must be adequate to read correspondence, computer screens, forms, etc. The position requires good manual dexterity. The Referral Coordinator is frequently required to sit and reach with hands and arms; regularly required to stand, walk, kneel and bend; and occasionally required to lift and move up to 50 pounds. The position requires the ability to operate a computer.
