Job Description and Contract
Essential Functions:
- Provide clinical supervision and direction to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and ABA Interns
- Develop, implement, and update treatment plans
- Conduct assessments (ABLLS, VB-MAPP, Functional Behavioral Assessment)
- Provide ABA therapy in home, clinic, and/or community settings
- Complete all documentation required for authorization of services
- Analyze data and modify programs as needed
- Schedule and conduct ongoing parent and/or caregiver trainings
- Participate in staff meetings and trainings
- Ensure quality standards of the ABA program (BST-Behavior Skills Training, IOA-inter observer agreement, etc.)
- Collaborate with parents, caregivers, teachers, and other providers to ensure consistency of interventions
- Supervise a minimum of 200 clinical hours weekly from services provided by RBTs
- Complete a minimum of 25 billable hours weekly (includes parent training, assessment, program modification, and direct).
- Prior to licensing and credentialing, BCBA is expected to provide a minimum of 25 billable hours weekly, possibly including direct sessions.
- Complete session documentation and convert appointments within 24 hours
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, parents, and staff
- Provide regular and constructive feedback/evaluations to all services providers and staff
- Adhere to the ethical guidelines set by the Behavior Analysis Certification Board (BACB)
- Maintain all clinical records in accordance with HIPAA
Required Education and Experience
- Master’s Degree in Psychology, Child Development, Special Education, Applied Behavioral Analysis, or related program.
- BCBA certification in good standing
- Be in good standing as a Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) in the state of Oklahoma or eligible to apply for LBA
- Experience providing assessments (VB-MAPP, ABLLS, etc.)
- Experience supervising others, providing parenting training, and behavioral intervention
- Excellent communication skills with other providers and families
- Passionate about helping children and their families
- Proficient in using electronic devices (computer, tablets) for extended amounts of time
Reporting
The BCBA reports to the ABA Clinic Director and/or the Chief ABA Officer.

Work Environment
This position works both in the clinic setting and in home setting, driving and visiting service recipients in a variety of settings. This position may cause exposure to infectious diseases, blood and bodily fluids.
Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by the BCBA to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
While performing the duties of this job, the BCBA is regularly required to speak and hear sufficiently to communicate effectively by phone or in person at normal volumes. The BCBA’s vision must be adequate to read correspondence, computer screens, forms, etc. The position requires good manual dexterity. The BCBA is frequently required to stand; walk; lift and move up to 50 pounds; play on the floor with service recipients for long periods of time (crawl, kneel, sit, bend) and reach with hands and arms. The position requires the ability to operate an automobile and a computer. The BCBA must be able to climb stairs and provide services in the service recipient’s residential and/or vocational environment.
Classification and Compensation
The BCBA is a salaried exempt position. Payroll is processed bi-weekly, constituting 26 annual pay periods. The salary will increase as outlined below:
Benefits:
- Medical/Dental/Vision Insurance (Peak will pay for 50% of these insurance premiums for the employee). Dependents can be added as needed, but the employee is responsible for 100% of those costs.
- Eligible to earn up to $15,000 annual in incentive pay when expectations are met (as outlined in the BCBA Incentive Plan).
- $2500 one-time bonus after reaching the 25 direct and 200 tech hours weekly on average for a month.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position with the expectation that the BCBA works at least 40 hours weekly. Work is primarily expected to occur during typical weekdays (Monday-Friday)
Travel
This position requires travel. While performing the duties of this position, the BCBA travels by their own automobile and is exposed to changing weather conditions. The BCBA must maintain personal insurance of the vehicle that they utilize during work hours at a minimum of 100/300/100. Current Vehicle Insurance Verification must be uploaded to the electronic employee file at the beginning of employment and updated each time the current term expires.
