Peak Behavioral Health is seeking a Medical Office Assistant to join our team at our Norman location! We are looking for someone that is positive, personable, and detail oriented.
Peak Behavioral Health is a multidisciplinary clinic in Norman, Oklahoma that includes Psychology, Speech, Occupational Therapy and ABA. You’ll be part of a collaborative team that provides a unified approach in helping children with autism and other disabilities.

The Position:
Receive incoming phone calls and referrals
Provide appointment reminders for all patients
Collect payments
Receive deliveries and distribute mail to all providers
Provide excellent customer service
Provide the initial warm welcome to all patients and guests
Assist colleagues with administrative tasks (e.g., copying, mailing, etc.)
Ordering and stocking office supplies
Announce incoming patients to providers at check-in
Scan and upload documents
Qualifications:
Experience as a receptionist (medical receptionist experience preferred)
Excellent communication skills with other providers and families
Must have great problem-solving skills
Must be highly organized and have a great eye for details
Available part-time – 20 hours/week
Proficient in using technology (Must be familiar with Microsoft Word, Office and Google Drive)
Passionate about helping children and their families
While performing the duties of this job, the Office Assistant is regularly required to speak and hear sufficiently to communicate effectively by phone or in person at normal volumes. The Office Assistant’s vision must be adequate to read correspondence, computer screens, forms, etc. The position requires good manual dexterity. The Office Assistant is frequently required to sit and reach with hands and arms; regularly required to stand, walk, kneel and bend; and occasionally required to lift and move up to 50 pounds. The position requires the ability to operate a computer.
