Peak is excited to be hosting an exclusive, luxury pop up event in the heart of Aspen, Colorado this 2025 season!  This event will be offering a unique luxury experience that blends cocktails, music and fashion -- designed to create memorable experiences for the most discerning of sophisticated clientele.

We are seeking an experienced BARBACK to join our team for the full run of this exciting, limited engagement event from 2/13-3/2.

Position Overview 

As a Barback, you will be the backbone of the bar’s operations, supporting bartenders and ensuring a seamless guest experience. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality. You’ll thrive in a fast-paced, upscale environment while learning from experienced professionals and contributing to a polished, high-level bar program. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Bar Support: Ensure bartenders have all the tools, ingredients, and garnishes needed to maintain a smooth service flow. 
• Stocking and Restocking: Maintain inventory levels by restocking spirits, wine, beer, and other supplies during service and performing end-of-shift replenishments. 
• Cleanliness: Keep the bar area, tools, and glassware spotless and organized, upholding the venue’s luxury standards. 
• Preparation: Assist with setting up and breaking down the bar, including preparing garnishes, syrups, and other bar essentials. 
• Guest-Focused Assistance: Provide support to bartenders during guest interactions, ensuring timely and efficient service. 
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with the entire bar team to maintain the venue’s upscale ambiance and operational excellence. 

Qualifications 

•  Prior experience in a hospitality or bar setting is preferred but not required.
•  Strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail. 
• Ability to stay calm and focused in a fast-paced environment. 
• A willingness to learn about wine, spirits, and cocktails to support bartenders effectively. 
• Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude. 
• Physical stamina to handle tasks like lifting kegs, moving supplies, and standing for extended periods. 

Requirements:

• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• Must be 21 years of age or older to be considered for this position
• Must have a valid Colorado certification in Alcohol Safety and Responsible Service (TIPS is NOT accepted, ABT is Recommended)
• Must have reliable transportation
• Limited engagement Event from 2/13-3/2. We are looking for candidates who are able to commit to the entirety of the event duration

Essential Physical Requirements

• Continuous reaching, bending, lifting and carrying; must be able to safely lift and easily maneuver objects weighing up to 40 pounds.
• May be required to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
