Job Summary
Responsible for all the health, Safety and Environmental aspects at our locations and field operating sites, as well as the implementation of safety programs and directives. Interacts with all employees and contractors to ensure all HSE policies, procedures, and guidelines are followed.
Responsibilities
- Ensure that our operations are conducted in a safe and efficient manner and in compliance with all applicable federal and state Occupational health and Safety legislation, Environmental Protection regulations and Workers Compensation legislation.
- Champion HSE initiatives: HSE committees, safety meetings, drills, HSE observations/reporting, etc.
- Maintain contractor management requirements (ISNetworld, Veriforce, etc.)
- Manage and track safety statistic reporting and provide regular HSE performance and compliance reporting Develop/maintain the Company Safety Manual and Emergency Response Plan
- Conduct incident investigations, root cause analysis, and follow-up to ensure timely closure and implementation of corrective actions
- Facilitate HSE training to personnel, including management as required
- Perform HSE orientations, inspections, walkthroughs, and audits at our facilities and field sites
- Provide timely and effective liaison with all personnel to review and address all aspects related to company HSE policies and standards
- Facilitate and action tasks that correct and/or enhance our HSE compliance
- Act as an advisor and resource to management related to HSE matters
- Liaise with management to ensure effective communication on all open action items
- Conduct hazard-risk analysis based on risk assessments, hazard ID entries, changes in processes or equipment
- Maintain recordkeeping and document control requirements
- Ensure all personnel meet HSE training requirements
- Work closely with operations personnel to ensure implementation of our HSE policies, procedures, and guidelines
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned, within the scope of this role
Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health, Safety Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in HSE-related work, preferably manufacturing, and/or oilfield environments.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and workers' compensation law is essential.
- Experience in training development related to environmental health and safety topics is highly desirable.
- Strong skills in report writing and documentation are required for effective communication of findings.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is a plus.
- Ability to analyze complex situations using root cause analysis techniques to develop effective solutions.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively across various departments.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
