We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Superintendent / Foreman to join our team. The Construction Superintendent / Foreman will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management and possess excellent leadership and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise all on-site construction activities
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure timely completion of projects
- Produce 3 week detailed schedule off of the overall project schedule and ensure project schedule is kept or advanced.
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to meet deadlines
- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards
- Review project plans and blueprints to ensure accuracy and feasibility
- Maintain accurate records of project expenses, materials, and labor costs
- Order materials based off of project schedule and budget
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential issues or hazards
- Provide regular updates to project stakeholders on progress, challenges, and changes
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of construction management processes, procedures, and best practices
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in blueprint reading and interpreting schematics
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety protocols
- Experience with construction management software such as Prolog, Bluebeam, or ProCore
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
