Advantage Dental Group located in Pueblo, Colorado is growing and looking for an EDDA or Dental Assistant to join our practice full time. Schedule: Full Time, Monday-Thursday 8am-5pm
Responsibilities:
- Welcome patients with a warm smile
- Experienced with 4 handed dentistry
- Prepare patients for treatments or checkups ensuring their comfort
- Capturing diagnostic radiographs
- Proficiency with temporary crowns, rubber dams, impressions, dentures
- Select and set up instruments, equipment, and materials
- Sterilize instruments according to regulations
- Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
- Undertake lab tasks as instructed
- Keep operatories clean and well-stocked
- Schedule follow-up and/or additional appointments
- Maintain accurate patient records and assist with treatment planning

Requirements
- 2 years of experience - we are willing to train more advanced skills
- Xray Certified
- CPR/BLS certified
- Certified Dental Assistant preferred
- EDDA certification preferred
- Good computer skills
- Understanding of health & safety regulations
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Attention to detail
- Well-organized and reliable
- Experience with Removables is preferred but is not required
- Bi-lingual (Spanish) is preferred but is not required
