Mile High Denture and Implant Center located in Englewood, CO is looking for an experienced Surgical Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team. We are a modern prosthodontic office with an onsite dental lab, a 3-D CT scanner, and a team comprised of some of the best dental and implant specialists around. Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Thursday 8 AM - 5 PM
Assisting During Procedures:
- Prepare the treatment room for surgeries and dental procedures.
- Assist the dentist/oral surgeon/prosthodontist during surgical procedures by handing instruments and materials.
- Monitor patient comfort and vital signs during procedures.
Patient Care:
- Prepare patients for surgery by explaining procedures and answering questions.
- Position patients appropriately for various dental procedures.
- Provide post-operative care instructions and assist with patient recovery.
Instrument Management:
- Maintain an organized and sterile field during procedures.
- Clean, sterilize, and maintain dental instruments and equipment.
- Inventory and order supplies as needed.
Administrative Tasks:
- Schedule patient appointments and follow-ups.
- Maintain accurate patient records and charts.
- Assist with billing and insurance processes/questions as necessary.
Safety and Compliance:
- Adhere to infection control protocols and OSHA regulations.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant dental and medical standards.

Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in a dental-surgical setting is required
- A current CPR certification
- X-Ray certification
- Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
- Proficiency in dental software and electronic health records (EHR)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
- Coachable and willing to adapt to new ways of doing things
- Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus
Salary : $24 - $30
