Description
We are seeking a dedicated, passionate Traveling Orthodontic Assistant to join our team part-time. This is an immediate opportunity to work at multiple locations, traveling with the team Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 9am to 5pm throughout the San Antonio market. Schedule: Tues.-Thurs. 8:45am-5pm
This role will travel Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday and work in the following locations:
- Universal City
- New Braunfels
- Bulverde/Spring Branch
Your role as an Orthodontic Assistant:
- Preparing patients and treatment rooms for orthodontic treatment procedures
- Sterilizing instruments and proper cleaning of treatment rooms
- Recording patients’ medical and dental histories in Orthotrac
- Assisting the Orthodontist as needed
- Utilizing the Itero Scanner daily
- Making preliminary impressions and fabricating custom impression trays, making retainers
- Assisting with taking X-rays as needed
- Scheduling patients for follow-up treatment and adjustment appointments
- Delivering a distinctive patient experience in each interaction
- Participation in team meetings monthly

Requirements
- 2 years of orthodontic dental assisting or related experience
- An active RDA license
- A current CPR certification
