We are seeking an experienced Asbestos Manager to lead our asbestos abatement and mold remediation projects. Responsibilities
- Oversee all asbestos abatement projects from planning through execution, ensuring adherence to safety regulations and industry standards.
- Conduct site assessments to identify asbestos-containing materials and develop appropriate remediation strategies.
- Manage and train a team of technicians in safe work practices related to asbestos removal and mold remediation.
- Maintain accurate documentation of project progress, safety inspections, and compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies to ensure effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Implement best practices for environmental restoration and ensure that all work is completed on time and within budget.
Experience
- Proven experience in asbestos abatement management or a similar role within the environmental services industry.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations related to hazardous materials handling, particularly asbestos.
- Experience in mold remediation processes is highly desirable.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, ensuring all projects are executed safely and efficiently.
