What You’ll Do
The Project Manager - Tent Division primary duties include managing and growing established customer relationships while working towards developing new business opportunities with individuals. He/she will be responsible for the sales of tents and associated product, they will be representing PEAK Event Services with superior customer service and professionalism. The salesperson will assist with special events requiring the highest degree of attention to detail and will be critical in corresponding with customers and venues on the Company’s behalf. This position reports directly to the Senior Tent Sales Manager.
The Day-to-Day
- Provide “day of” support to key customers for complex & important events
- Answer email and phone inquiries and generate quotes with event/site specific information
- Provide support to customers throughout planning, install, and removal with immediate responses
- Coordinate all necessary documentation for successful installation of a tented event
- Assist as need with the permitting components required for successfully and timely execution of the project
- Work with the company drafter to create site plans and interior layouts for permitting and on-site installation in a timely manner
- Maintain updated Packing Lists based on site requirements and sketches
- Update invoices as changes are made in the field during install or removal by communicating with both operations and the field supervisors
- Coordinate confirmed project scheduling with Support Staff
- Provide support to customers throughout planning, install, and removal with immediate responses
- Correspond with customers involved with special projects directed by the Senior Tent Project Manager
- Promote new products and inform customers of any pricing, policy or procedural changes
- Monitor and reconcile receivables as instructed by the Accounting Department
- Address “Overbooked” inventory with operational support in order to resolve potential issues
- Promote PEAK in the market with a positive attitude & outstanding service
- Maintains scheduled in-office days and updates in the Peak/Newport Tent shared calendar
- Attendance of all PEAK scheduled sales & company meetings
- Provides support to all other company team members, as needed
What We’re Looking For
- Understanding of Event Operations
- 1-3 years related industry experience is a positive but not required
- Strong focus on customer and client services
- General knowledge of special events including tent installation, site access, permitting, and construction and understanding of the mechanics of executing successful events
- Experience with or an understanding of basic construction is preferred
- Must be comfortable working in a fast paced & constantly changing environment
- Demonstrated ability to be flexible with a “Make it Happen” attitude
- Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills
- Excellent decision-making and problem solving skills
- Excellent organizational and project management skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to work well independently as well as in groups
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate and exude confidence with clients
- Team player

- $70,000 - $90,000 Projected Annual Salary (combined base & commissions) with potential for significantly higher
