Job Opportunity: Full-Time Optometry Technician
Location: Peak Eye Care, S.C. 3670 S 108th Street, Suite 204, Greenfield, WI
Position: Optometry Technician
Peak Eye Care, S.C. is seeking a full-time Optometry Technician to join our team. We are looking for a well-rounded staff member who understands checking patients in for appointments, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance, and preparing charts. We would like a candidate who is able to pretest patients with Optos, Visual-Field, and pressure checks, but will train the right candidate.

Our practice was established in 2003 as The Eye Group, S.C. We rebranded as Peak Eye Care, S.C. June 1, 2024. We are currently a one-doctor practice, with a second optometrist joining us in January. Our team is collaborative, professional, and passionate about delivering top-notch eye care services.
Responsibilities:
- Check patients in
- Schedule appointments
- Verify insurance
- Prepare charts
- Perform pretesting using advanced diagnostic equipment
- Accurately document patient information, exam results, and medical history
- Thorough knowledge of eyewear and contact lenses
- Ensure proper sterilization and maintenance of equipment and instruments
- Assist with scheduling appointments and managing office calendars
- File insurance claims accurately and efficiently
- Support other office operations as needed
Work Hours:
- Monday & Wednesday: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
- Tuesday & Thursday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Friday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Ideal Candidate:

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.50 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
