Front Desk Agent / Medical Technician Float needed
Our position is a great fit for someone who has a love of technology and is customer service driven. Our busy practice needs a motivated team player to help us give patients a 5-star experience every time they’re here in our upbeat and friendly office.
You’ll be handling a lot of the important work that goes on to set the doctor and patient up for success. As the first person to work with each patient during their appointment, you’ll be the one who calms their nerves, gets them in a great mood, and shows them that we are there to serve them in every way we can!
NO Experience Needed:
Prior healthcare or medical office experience can be beneficial, but certainly not required. We offer paid training to the right person with a great attitude, a helpful heart, and a love of learning! We believe that knowledge is power and we want ALL our team members to feel like Superheros!
Some of your duties
- Being the first point of contact with patients by answering phones and greeting patients warmly when they come to our office
- Spending 15 minutes with each patient before the doctor comes in, performing duties such as measuring visual function, Dry eye testing, and taking retinal photographs.
- Consistent cross-training for optimal career growth (offered and expected)
- Assisting with advanced dry eye procedures and educating patients on after-care instructions

- You have the ability to proficiently document and follow up on patient charts as well as identify concerns, active listening is a DEFINITE.
