What are the responsibilities and job description for the 1st Shift Opening - Blendtopia/Food Service position at Peak Foods?
Summary / Position Purpose:
Performs manual labor working in various departments as directed by manager or lead. Accurate recording of activities on documents, and the understanding of HACCP, Organic, pasteurization, sanitation, allergens and all food safety programs are required.
Principle Accountabilities:
o Duties and tasks as assigned by Area Manager
o Comply with all Company policies including, but not limited to, Organic, Quality, Safety, Food Safety, Environmental, GMP's, HAACP, and Attendance.
o Perform duties accurately and on a timely basis in accordance to the published production schedule as well as verbal instruction.
o Understand and follow procedures of the department for use of the department's equipment.
Experience / Competencies:
- Show compliance and adherence of on the job training by lead.
Other Requirements:
- Noise levels may rise above 80 decibels – hearing protection is required
- Lift up to 44 LBS on occasional basis – steel toed, non-slip shoes required
- Environmental temperatures range: 55 to 80 degrees
- Standing on a consistent basis throughout an 8 to 10 hr. shift
Organizational Relationships:
o Reports to: Area Group leader, Supervisor or Manager
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $18.50 per hour
