We are seeking a passionate and customer focused Powersports Parts Counterperson to join our team. As the go-to expert for all things parts-related, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional service and ensuring riders have everything they need to fuel their adventures.
Pay will start at $19.00 / per hour with commission-based salary.
Responsibilities :
Parts Guru : Be the authority on powersports parts and accessories, leveraging your extensive knowledge to assist customers in finding the right components for their specific needs. Offer expert advice, identify suitable options, and recommend upgrades that enhance performance and style.
Customer Delight : Interact with riders, mechanics, and enthusiasts, building strong relationships based on trust and expertise. Deliver outstanding customer service by providing accurate information, addressing inquiries, and resolving issues promptly.
Order Management : Utilize your organizational skills to manage parts orders efficiently. Ensure accurate documentation, monitor inventory levels, and collaborate with suppliers to maintain a robust and well-stocked parts department.
Inventory Storage Management : Ensure the proper and efficient storage of inventory in the building.
Technical Support : Collaborate with service technicians and riders to diagnose parts-related issues and provide troubleshooting guidance. Assist with interpreting technical diagrams and specifications to ensure accurate selection and installation of parts.
Upselling Opportunities : Identify upselling opportunities by understanding customer needs and recommending additional parts, accessories, or complementary products that enhance the overall riding experience.
Team Player : Collaborate with the service department, sales team, and other staff members to create a seamless customer experience. Share knowledge, provide
support, and contribute to the overall success of the dealership.
Requirements :
- Passionate about powersports vehicles, including motorcycles, ATVs, dirt bikes, and boats.
- Previous experience in a parts counter or retail environment, preferably in the powersports industry.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Lightspeed knowledge is a plus.
- Strong technical knowledge of powersports parts, accessories, and applications.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in parts ordering systems and inventory management.
- Familiarity with technical diagrams and parts catalogs.
- Team player with a positive attitude and a genuine desire to help customers.
