As a Climbing Arborist at Peak, you will apply your knowledge in tree pruning, removals and technical rigging when required. Maintaining a safe work environment and high level of professionalism is always an expectation for all our employees. Key Responsibilities:
- Adhere to safety guidelines and use appropriate PPE during tree care operations
- Perform tree pruning according to industry best practices and without the use of
climbing spurs
- Use of industry standard climbing and rigging techniques
- Tree removals large and small
- Practical knowledge and use of chainsaws, stump grinders, chippers and aerial lifts
- Perform a daily safety inspection of climbing gear, vehicles, tools and equipment
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients and communicate effectively with
fellow crew members
Qualifications:
- Passionate about tree work and the outdoors
- A minimum of 1 year climbing experience
- Ability to work well and collaborate with others on the team
- Ability and willingness to perform work in all weather conditions
- High attention to detail to help uphold Peak's high standard of quality
- Valid driver’s license is preferred
- Possess a ‘safety first’ mindset
