What are the responsibilities and job description for the Puppy Caretaker/Trainer position at Peak Legacy Ranch?
Peak Legacy Ranch in Peyton, CO is looking for a part time Puppy Caretaker & Trainer. Do you love working with puppies? We are looking for fast-learning, motivated, hardworking, energetic people to join our team.
Responsibilities will include:
•Feeding and watering animals
•Cleaning kennels and enclosures
•Monitoring health of animals
•Training and socialization of puppies
•Other tasks as assigned
Qualifications/Skills:
•High school diploma or GED
•Endurance in a manual labor environment
•Ability to bend, twist, squat, and lift 40 lbs.
•Accurately read and use measurements
•Ability to follow directions and checklists
•Reliable transportation and attendance
•Availability to work weekends
•Availability to work at least three shifts per week
•Flexible hours –
Must work at least one a.m. shift (starting 6:30 am)
Must work at least one p.m. shift (staying as late as 8:30 pm)
•Ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment
•Organized and attentive to detail
Compensation:
•Non-exempt (Hourly) Employee
•Starting Pay: $15-16 per hour ($15 training, $16 after training = $2/hr bonus potential)
•Eligible for Vacation Accrual after 6 months
