Responsibilities
•Answering incoming calls/outbound calling/follow up on customer leads
•Schedule reservations
•Update/maintain customer database
•Follow up calls to customers after purchase
•Educate and advise customers on products and pets
•Create connections with customers and close sales
•Follow all policies and procedures
•Opening and closing duties
•Assist in animal care as needed (may include cleaning, animal socialization, and care)
•Assist in leading, coaching, and developing associates (delegation, follow up, accountability)
•Other tasks as assigned
Qualifications
•High school diploma or GED
•Must be available to work evenings and weekends
•Reliable transportation and attendance
•Friendly and outgoing personality
•Excellent verbal and phone skills
•Computer literacy
•Problem solving skills
•Strong time management skills, ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize
•Ability to sit, stand or walk for long periods of time
•Ability to bend, twist, squat, and lift 30 lbs.
•Required 1 year customer service or sales experience
•Preferred prior experience in a commissioned sales position
Preferred prior experience in a leadership or supervisory role
Pay Structure:
•Non-exempt (Hourly) Employee
•$20-$27 per hour ($20 base/$27 average with commission for motivated salespersons)
•Eligible for Commission pay after training – based on sales and performance metrics
•Eligible for Vacation Accrual after 6 months
