We are currently seeking dependable full or part time candidates who hold a CDL license with a Passenger Endorsement to join our team. The ideal candidate will enjoy driving sedans, SUVs, vans, mini buses and mini-coach and must demonstrate a customer-focused and safety-oriented approach. Attention to detail, efficiency, and a clean driving record are essential qualities for this role.

We are a 24/7 company and have an array of available shifts with the heaviest need being weekends and some mid-week work.

Job Duties And Responsibilities

• Fully understand how to operate and safely drive assigned vehicles, which may include 12-passenger Sprinter Vans or 32 to 37 passenger mini buses
• Plan routes and trips by effectively, following internal trip notes and specific directions
• Communicate clearly and precisely with dispatch, passengers or event planners
• Enjoys working with groups during various events such as wine tours, weddings or local sightseeing tours.
• Conduct pre and post trip inspections of your vehicle
• Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of assigned vehicle
• Monitor weather conditions and road reports prior to departure
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks such as refueling, oil changes, tire pressure checks, etc.
• Report any major maintenance issues or client impactful issues to management promptly
• Record and report working hours accurately using an ELD (Electronic Logging Device)
• Adhere to company policies, regulations and all applicable traffic laws
• Prioritize safety at all times and adjust driving according to weather and road conditions
• Comply with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations
  
  
  

Driver Requirements and Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
• Commercial CDL (Class B), with passenger endorsement
• Passenger Endorsement - Required
• Minimum 2-years of experience driving CDL buses a - Required
• Clean driving record with no moving violations
• Successful completion of background check and drug tests
• Ability to comfortably maneuver and park a 35-ft minibus
• Strong attention to detail, focus, and physical fitness (ability to lift up to 50lbs)
• Proficient using GPS and other routing systems
• An innate sense of direction
• Disciplined, dependable, and resourceful with a high level of composure and good stress management skills
• Experience with ELD systems is a plus

About The Pay Scale

We offer a competitive sliding pay scale based on vehicle type and experience.

• Sedan and SUV chauffeurs: $17 per hour
• Van chauffeurs: $18 per hour
• Mini Bus chauffeurs: starting at $25 per hour
