Home Health Caregiver

Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide essential support to individuals in their homes. This role is crucial in enhancing the quality of life for clients who may require assistance with daily activities, ensuring they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. The ideal candidate will have experience in home care settings and a genuine passion for helping others.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Provide companionship and engage clients in conversation and activities to promote mental well-being.
• Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary requirements and preferences.
• Maintain a clean and safe living environment by performing light housekeeping duties.
• Assist with medication reminders and ensure adherence to prescribed schedules.
• Support clients with mobility and transfers as needed, ensuring their safety at all times.
• Document daily activities and any changes in the client’s condition or needs.
• Collaborate with family members and healthcare professionals to develop personalized care plans.

Experience

• Previous experience in home care, assisted living, memory care, or nursing home settings is preferred.
• Familiarity with working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus.
• Skills in meal preparation and cooking are essential for providing nutritious support.
• A caring attitude, patience, and strong communication skills are vital for success in this role.
• Ability to perform light cleaning tasks to maintain a tidy environment for clients.

Pay: $16.00 - $17.25 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
