Position Details:

- Hours: 32 hours/week, Monday - Thursday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Compensation: $28/hour , depending on experience

About the Family:
They are a laid back, same-sex, married couple, both in their 30s, and they live in the University Hills neighborhood of Denver. They have a 9-month-old son who is a very easygoing baby. He loves to play, go for walks, and listen to music. He is healthy & developing well! He’s currently crawling and is eager to walk and talk soon.
They’re also a dog-friendly household with two adorable dogs, both of whom are friendly and love attention. They own a business together - so they have a very busy work schedule. Sometimes they work from home, sometimes from their offices. When working from home - they have a separate office space from the living/baby area in the house.
They are both originally from out of state and have lived in Colorado for nearly 10 years. They are excited to welcome someone who can provide consistent and reliable support with their baby and help them maintain a smooth, functioning, household and routine. They don’t yet have a structured discipline approach as their son is only 9 months old, but they value positive redirection and a calm, supportive approach.
Duties Include:
- Child Care: Primary care for their 9-month-old son, including feeding, playing, and nap support. He is currently learning to eat solid foods and adjusting to a nap schedule. They are looking for a nanny to engage in activities that help him learn and grow, such as outdoor play, music, and interactive games. As well as help keep up with developmental milestones, engage in creative play, and establish / maintain routines.
- Dog Care: Letting the dogs in and out, into the fenced yard, ensuring they are fed and looked after.
- Light Housekeeping: As it pertains to the child - such as folding his laundry, washing dishes, picking up toys, and keeping the play area organized.
Ideal Candidate:
- Personality Traits: Fun, creative, patient, trustworthy, attentive, and loving. They want someone who enjoys spending time with babies and has a genuine love for dogs.
- Experience: Experience with infants or toddlers is preferred. Must be comfortable with their dogs, as they are a part of the family as well!
- Responsibilities: Must be reliable, professional, and adaptable in a busy, flexible, family environment.
- Additional Duties: They would love a nanny who is open to occasional date nights and some travel with them (mostly to the mountains).
- Transportation: Open to the nanny providing their own vehicle or using theirs for work-related needs.
Requirements:
- Vaccinations: Required for Flu, Tdap, MMR, and COVID (ideally).
- CPR / First aid certified
