What are the responsibilities and job description for the System Analyst position at Peak Partners?
Peak Partners has a large regional healthcare system client who is seeking a System Analyst for regulatory and quality measures. The ideal candidate must understand Cerner systems and fundamental medical terminology. This is a hybrid position located in Baltimore; MD. Candidates must be from the DMV/PA area for occasional onsite requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Understand the client’s current and future regulatory, quality measures and accreditation requirements.
- Translate regulatory requirements into system requirements based on clinical workflow processes and desired reporting outcomes.
- Analyze, design, build, test and modify system and program requirements as they relate to relevant mandates.
- In addition to Cerner, the analyst will be the subject-matter expert in consultation for other software solutions and processes as required.
- Troubleshoots system problems and resolves issues related to support uptime and availability of systems.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years’ experience with Cerner BUILD experience within the last 6 months.
- BS in Healthcare Administration, Regulatory Compliance, Computer Science, Engineering, or other relevant study.
- Cerner experience is essential.
- Understanding and experience with Regulatory acronyms including eCQMs, MIPS, CMS, HSCRC, TJC, and PDMP are expected.
- Knowledge of PowerInsight, CCL, and Tableau to run reports required.

Salary : $55,000 - $95,000
