Patient Care Coordinator (Pediatric Primary Care)

Peak Pediatric Care is a thriving pediatric primary care practice in North Attleboro, MA. We’re looking for a friendly and organized team member to join our front desk staff! In this role, you'll be the first point of contact for our patients and families—whether they’re calling in or walking through our doors. We are seeking a candidate with prior primary care experience, ideally in pediatrics.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Checking patients in and out of their appointments
• Scheduling appointments
• Answering calls and messages
• Sending and receiving faxes
• Checking insurance eligibility
• Collecting balances
• Processing insurance referrals
• Registering new patients

This is a full-time position with a schedule of Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM and a rotation of Saturday shifts from 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM.

Attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a primary care medical receptionist, particularly in a pediatric setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in using medical office software and systems.
• An understanding of insurance policies.
• Attention to detail is a must.
• A high school diploma or equivalent, as well as additional qualifications in healthcare administration, are a plus.
