- The state government agency that manages vehicle registration, driver licensing, and oversees vehicle-related services and regulations in the state
- Provide customer service by telephone and email in a high-volume contact/call center.
- Respond to customer inquiries about agency programs, services, policies, procedures, laws, and regulations.
- Actively listen to customer requests while simultaneously navigating a variety of agency systems and applications to problem-solve customer issues.
- Access multiple databases to cross-reference customer information and provide solutions.
- Assist customers with navigating websites and online services.
- Escalate customer inquiries and service requests for clarification and resolution.
- Learn and adapt quickly.
- Attend work regularly and observe approved work hours.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
- Call center experience.
- Ability to navigate multiple databases and systems while maintaining high attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Patience, understanding, and flexibility in handling customer inquiries.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote setting with minimal supervision.
- Dependable internet connection and a quiet work environment, free from distractions.
- Rate: $18.50 /hour.
- Length of Engagement: May 1 st – October 31 st .
- Days/Hours: Monday – Friday, 8 am – 5 pm .
- Location: Austin, TX 78731 .
