- Enter, verify, update, and retrieve information in the Surplus Program’s system of record with speed and accuracy, including setting "Disposition" status of vehicles and ensuring data alignment in tracking systems.
- Process completed Report of Surplus Motor Vehicles and Motorized Equipment forms (CS201.1), entering supporting documents such as photos, titles, transfer records, and quotes into shared program folders.
- Use computer terminals to manage data in the State Surplus Property (SSP) system and maintain accurate inventory in a shared tracker spreadsheet.
- List items purchased with Special Funds immediately on the online auction site, and enter items purchased from General Funds into an OGS transfer site prior to auction listing.
- Ensure proper tracking of surplus items and associated paperwork to prevent discrepancies or misplacement.
- Regularly update shared trackers and program folders to support team operations and maintain accurate records.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to follow directions and work collaboratively with surplus program staff.
- Familiarity with data entry systems, spreadsheets, and general office software (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets).
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
- Prior experience in data entry or office administration is preferred.
- Rate: $21.00 per hour
- Length of engagement: 1 year
- Days/Hours: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm (37.5 hours per week)
