- Process Release of Information in compliance with HIPAA.
- Review admission and discharge forms to ensure no billing errors.
- Scan, audit, and electronically save medical records as needed.
- Provide back-up clerical support to inpatient units when required.
- File received documentation.
- Enter and correct Incidents/Restrictive Interventions.
- Enter and distribute patient satisfaction survey results.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in a related field is a plus.
- Prior experience in a medical or administrative setting preferred.
- Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and handling confidential information is a plus.
- Experience with medical records systems or data entry is beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency with basic office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to privacy regulations.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new systems or processes.
- Rate: $20.00 per hour
- Length of engagement: 4 months
- Days/Hours: Monday to Friday, 8 AM - 4 PM (37.5 hours per week)
