Project Manager

Peak Performers has partnered with a global biopharmaceutical company to assist in their search for a Project Manager. In this contract position, you will assist in the development and execution of project strategic and operational plans to meet key program goals.

Major duties

• Responsible for managing, scheduling and facilitating project meetings.
• Manage project/team correspondence and record-keeping.
• Oversee projects and when problems arise, or work is falling behind schedule, communicate with the project manager and team members about the issue.
• Monitor progress and manage potential emerging risk areas, gaps or opportunities for improvement in collaboration with team leads and/or program managers.
• Provides project leadership to the product team and key sub-teams across research and development; ensuring clear and open communication.
• Collaborate with function and/or project leads to identify, define and communicate project requirements, scope and objectives.
• Support forecasting and budget activities in collaboration with key stakeholders.
• Manage assignments and prioritize work & time to meet department deadlines.
  
  

What are we looking for?

• BS or MS in a scientific or engineering discipline.
• 5 years of pharma industry experience required.
• Project Management experience required.
• Clinical Development experience is highly desired.
• Expert knowledge of MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint and SharePoint.
• Experience working with project management platforms such as MS Project, Smartsheet or Planview.
• Excellent verbal/written communication, time/resource management, attention to detail, interpersonal and organizational skills.
  
  

About This Position

• Rate: $72.00 - $80.00/hour
• Length of engagement: ~6 months
• Days/Hours: Monday-Friday/8am-5pm
• This position is hybrid in Waltham, MA
