Warehouse Associate

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by managing inventory, facilitating shipping and receiving processes, and maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment. This position requires attention to detail, the ability to operate heavy equipment, and a commitment to teamwork.

Duties

• Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse environment, and adheres to all safety standards.
• Enforce warehouse policies and procedures.
• Oversee warehouse operations, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and safely.
• Manage shipping and receiving tasks to ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Conduct inventory control measures to maintain accurate stock levels.
• Coordinate the activities of warehouse staff to maintain a smooth workflow.
• Fabricate and build various products as required by operational needs.
• Manage shipping and receiving tasks to ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Operate metal parts, including forklifts and order pickers, safely and efficiently.
• Assist in the organization of the distribution center to optimize workflow.

Skills

• Proficient in shipping receiving processes and inventory management systems.
• Experience with metal parts operation, particularly forklifts and order pickers.
• Strong attention to detail for effective order picking and inventory control.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards.
• Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork and collaboration.
• Basic knowledge of warehouse operations within a distribution center setting is preferred.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and warehouse regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of experience in warehouse or logistics operations.
• Forklift operation certification.
• Ability to work under pressure

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
