Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Behavior Technician to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will provide essential behavioral therapy services to individuals with developmental disabilities, contributing to their overall well-being and improvement of daily living skills. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care, as well as a deep understanding of behavioral health principles.
Duties
- Develop and implement personalized care plans to address the unique needs of each client.
- Provide individualized behavioral therapy sessions using evidence-based techniques, such as Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
- Work closely with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals to create a comprehensive support network.
- Conduct functional assessments to identify areas of need and develop strategies to improve daily living skills, including ADLs (Activities of Daily Living).
- Collect and maintain accurate medical records and behavioral data to inform treatment plans.
- Collaborate with special education teams to provide educational support and integrate therapy sessions into the educational environment.
- Educate clients and their families on behavioral health strategies and how to apply them in real-life situations.
- Monitor and document client progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure the highest level of care.
Skills
- Strong background in patient care and behavioral health.
- Experience with behavioral therapy, particularly Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
- Knowledge of developmental disabilities and their impact on daily living skills.
- Ability to create and implement personalized care plans.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with diverse populations.
