Job Summary
The Assistant Property Manager will assist in overseeing daily operations at the property, ensuring a positive experience for tenants and maintaining the property's overall functionality.
Duties
- Assist in leasing activities, including showing units, processing applications, and preparing lease agreements
- Handle tenant inquiries, complaints, and emergencies promptly and professionally
- Coordinate maintenance and repairs with vendors and maintenance staff
- Maintain accurate records of all property-related activities
- Assist in rent collection and financial reporting
- Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations and company policies
- Support the Property Manager in various administrative tasks
Requirements
- Knowledge of property management principles and practices
- Familiarity with Real Estate administrative processes and legal requirements
- Ability to negotiate contracts and resolve conflicts effectively
- Proficiency in filing and record-keeping
- Understanding of Property Leasing procedures
- Knowledge of Section 8 housing programs is a plus
