As they continue to grow, they are looking for a dynamic and experienced Sales & Customer Relationship Manager to join their team and help them lead the charge in building lasting, impactful relationships with their clients.
Role Overview:
As our Sales & Customer Relationship Manager, you will be an integral part of our customer experience and sales strategy. Your expertise will guide the sales teams and strengthen relationships with key customers, ensuring that we continue to provide unmatched service and value. In this leadership role, you will oversee the full sales cycle, from identifying new opportunities to nurturing long-term partnerships with our current clients.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Work in conjunction with Business Unit Sales Managers to develop, strengthen, and implement sales and marketing strategies and initiatives, including trade shows and business development activities.
2. Work with Team Leads to foster a culture based on the organization’s core values and purpose to deliver world class customer service.
3. Work with Team Leads to develop high-performing teams which embrace collaboration, respect, quality work, accountability, and continuous learning and improvement.
4. Work with both Business Unit Managers and Executive Leadership to establish annual goals and metrics by which performance is evaluated.
6. Work with Team Leads to establish SMART (Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant, Time-Bound) goals for their overall teams and account managers.
7. Work with Team Leads to develop and implement behavior-based performance evaluations, including 360-degree assessments for the Team Leads and Account Managers.
8. Hold Team Leads accountable for providing account managers with ongoing positive and constructive performance feedback.
9. Oversee development, implementation, and maintenance of internal and external training.
10. Work with Business Unit Sales Managers and the Executive Leadership team to design and implement appropriate compensation and benefit practices for Team Leads and Account Managers.
11. Develop operating plans and cost center financial forecasting and be responsible for cost center expenditures.
12. Work with Team Leads and Human Resources on employee-related matters, including hiring, compensation, promotions, corrective actions, and terminations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in sales, marketing, customer management, business or a related field
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a CRM software platform
Proven experience in sales and customer relationship management, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire, guide, and develop a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-first approach.
Ability to build and maintain long-lasting relationships with clients at all levels.
Experience in strategic planning, sales forecasting, and achieving business goals.
Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
Salary : $110,000 - $150,000
