Job Responsibilities
As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining the functionality, safety, and efficiency of our car wash systems. Your key responsibilities include:
Equipment Maintenance & Repair
- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on all car wash equipment, including conveyors, pumps, blowers, water reclaim systems, and chemical dispensers.
- Conduct preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Ensure all repairs and maintenance tasks meet safety and operational standards.
- Keep detailed records of maintenance schedules, repairs, and part replacements.
Facility Upkeep & Safety Compliance
- Maintain the cleanliness and functionality of the facility, including lighting, plumbing, and structural elements.
- Identify and address potential hazards to ensure a safe working environment.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, environmental, and industry regulations.
- Monitor chemical storage and handling procedures to maintain safety and efficiency.
Technical Support & Team Collaboration
- Work closely with management and staff to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
- Provide technical support and training to car wash staff on proper equipment usage.
- Assist in implementing improvements and upgrades to enhance operational performance.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in car wash maintenance or a related field (e.g., industrial maintenance, automotive repair, or equipment servicing).
- Strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
- Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and vendors.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including day and night shifts, as well as weekends or on-call shifts as needed.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as required.
- Valid driver’s license required.
