We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Spray Foam Installer to join our team. As a Spray Foam Installer, you will be responsible for applying spray foam insulation in residential and commercial settings, ensuring that all work meets industry standards and client specifications.
Duties
- Prepare job sites by ensuring all materials and equipment are ready for installation.
- Read and interpret schematics to understand project requirements.
- Install insulation in walls, attics, and other areas as specified by project plans.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during installations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Conduct quality checks on completed work to ensure compliance with industry standards.
Experience
Candidates should possess the following skills and experience:
- Proficient in applying spray foam insulation for residential, commercial, or industrial projects, ensuring proper thickness and adherence to safety standards.
- Skilled in equipment setup, operation, and maintenance, including spray foam rigs, compressors, and spray guns.
- Knowledge of spray foam materials and chemical mixing processes, including proper handling of isocyanates and polyols.
- Familiar with OSHA safety guidelines and PPE requirements, maintaining a safe work environment on all job sites.
- Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and job specifications to accurately execute insulation plans.
- Capable of working in various environments, including tight spaces, heights, and temperature extremes.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions, minimizing downtime and project delays.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with clients, team members, and supervisors to ensure project expectations are met.
