Basic Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in municipal, consulting, or related field
- Background in hydrology and hydraulics (open-channel flow, pipelines, flood mitigation)
- Experience with modeling, design, and construction of underground utility systems, weirs, and pumps or ability to analyze modeling results
- AutoCAD (Civil 3D), Revit, Adobe Acrobat, or Bluebeam Revu
- Effective communication skills (verbal and written) with clients, consultants, contractors, Resort stakeholders, and management
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to resolve complex technical issues
- Working knowledge of standards and codes applicable to civil utility systems
- Current registration as a Professional Engineer in the State of CaliforniaPreferred Qualifications
- Experience with creating and updating features in GIS (Esri ArcGIS)
- Experience with HEC-RAS, InfoWater or similar modeling softwareRequired Education
- BS Civil Engineering or related field
