Primary PurposeThis position is accountable for performing a wide range of administrative and office support activities for the Manager and/or department to facilitate the efficient operation of the organization.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Relieve management of administrative detail, all projects.
- Update and chase delegated tasks to ensure progress to deadlines.
- Keep projects on schedule.
- Compose correspondence/reports for own or manager’s signature.
- Research, draft or abstract reports.
- Prepare quotations for customers.
- Assist with creating financial models.
- Assist management as an interpreter for Spanish speaking employees.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Proficient in English and conversational Spanish.
- Proficient in Accounts Payable.
- Three years of related work experience.
- Two years of experience in accounting.
- Excellent computer skills with a strong knowledge of Windows, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint are necessary.
- Knowledge of operation of standard office equipment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication/language skills required to include the ability to provide written and verbal instructions, compile and present business reports/correspondence, and present information clearly.
- Capable of planning and organizing work and processes; ability to self-direct multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Quality and customer service orientation.
- Ability to cooperate and interpersonal skills to work effectively as a team member.
